RSS and thousands of ....

I think that RSS feeds serve a purpose of making information gathering easier but it take away from the people that advertise on there sites... do i care ? no. I never bought anything from them and i have add blocker on my firefox browser so i don't see them anyways. In the end it makes no difference for me. I like this program much more than the normal ones i have seen before i do believe i will continue to use this program though.

Flick and DELI what are they good for?

Flicker and delicious are both remarkable programs that are set up really nicely but all they really are there for is a loyal following and actual productive user group of say a couple thousand and the rest just use it to use it ... we are a consumer driven society ... we use things because we can not because we need to. No i will not keep using them. They will benefit me none ... i will not gain money from them only a brief respite from boredom or an occasional chuckle. I discovered a couple good web design sites but none of it was stuff i couldn't do in a couple minutes by myself and the pictures were cool that i found but all i can do is just look at them. i cant use them on a site of mine because its not my content. The sites are great but ... if you think about it ... it hasn't really raised your quality or how ever you want to look at it.

Wiki and the Future

I see the wikipedia move to totally replace the average encyclopedia. When you can get constant updates on a source of your choice, why would you want a printed edition that will have inaccurate parts in a couple of months. Its a great idea with a good backing and i see that there will be a bigger move for different industries to do things like this. Basically if you are the first and good at it you win ... wiki did just this ... and they are here to say.

what is up with blogs?
Legally bloggers are journalists, It is because anyone that publishes information on a setup such as a blog and has possible readers its covered under freedom of press and there for a form of journalism. It is good and bad ... some small things that can tarnish a presidency that would prove to do a greater good than the one that wins shouldn't be tied down by certain types of journalism. On the other hand its vital to our freedom of speech act to let it happen. Yes they should and Do get all those things. Its been though the legal system and its legit now ... blogging is news.

Introduction

Okay so my name is Benjamin McDaniel i have been sick lately so i have been behind on the work in this class ... sick mainly a bad head ache that never goes way ... meds help but its basically just constant ... don't worry doctors are checking it out, Anyways. I have been in Alaska for 4 years, i am 21 i live on campus i like all forms of computers and computer games i have spent more on computers in my life time than cars or housing or anything you can think of ... sad and cool at the same time. I currently am fixing a 2000 dollar machine that i messed up but thats a different story. anyways I like a bunch of stuff ... most of its got to do with electronics or high adventure ... and that doesn't mean drugs ... course that could sound like it with all the cough cough "smokers" in Alaska. Anyway i have a web site and i do a web comic ... its a little racy and some are ether geek jokes or can be offensive ... basically an adult geek comic .. don't worry its not that bad its all work safe ... till they read the lines ... lol. Anyways thats all for me today have a great day. Btw the /b/ stands for a directory in 4chan that bascially is the scum pit of the internet ... why name your blog after something so bad you ask? well its the scum pit but it also is a pit of funny and epic funny ... just got to waid though it all that and if you need to find ANYTHING on the internet if you ask in the right way you can have it posted in mater of seconds ... its amazing ... hundreds of thousands of people browse it every day... thats how instant answers are possible .. anyways laterz.
